SBI Recruitment 2023

The State Bank of India (SBI) has released a notification for the recruitment of apprentices in 2023. In an effort to onboard 6,160 apprentices in accordance with the Apprentices Act, 1961, the bank has posted all the relevant details on its official website, which can be found at sbi.co.in. This announcement is made under Advertisement No: CRPD/APPR/2023-24/17 and contains crucial information for aspiring candidates interested in pursuing a career with SBI. The last date to apply is September 21, 2023.

Eligibility Criteria

Qualification : Applicants must possess a bachelor’s degree from a recognized university.

Age Criteria : Candidates should meet the following age requirements:

  • Minimum Age: 20 years
  • Maximum Age: 28 years as of August 1, 2023.
  • This implies that candidates’ birthdates should fall between August 2, 1995, and August 1, 2003.

Age Relaxations : Specific relaxations in the upper age limit are applicable for candidates belonging to the following categories:-

  • SC (Scheduled Caste)
  • ST (Scheduled Tribe)
  • OBC (Other Backward Classes)
  • PwBD (Persons with Benchmark Disabilities)

These relaxations adhere to the guidelines established by the Government of India. They are implemented to ensure fairness and equal opportunities for all eligible candidates, considering their specific category status.

Selection Process

The selection process for the SBI Apprentice recruitment will involve two key stages: an online written test and a local language test. Here are the details:

Online Written Test:

  • The written test will comprise 100 questions, with a maximum score of 100.
  • Candidates will have a duration of 60 minutes to complete the examination.
  • Importantly, the written examination questions will be available in 13 regional languages. These languages include Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Konkani, Malayalam, Manipuri, Marathi, Oriya, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu.
  • The written online examination is scheduled to take place in October/November 2023.

This selection process is designed to assess candidates’ abilities and language proficiency, ensuring a comprehensive evaluation of their qualifications for the SBI Apprentice positions.
