Date of Exam: The PET will be held on 10th September 2023 (Sunday).

Eligibility Criteria

Academic Requirement: Prospective candidates should have successfully completed their Higher Secondary (10+2) or an equivalent examination from recognized Boards/Councils, achieving a minimum aggregate of 50% marks, excluding marks obtained in additional optional subjects. (For candidates falling under the SC/ST category, there will be a relaxation of 5% in the aggregate marks.)

Age Criteria: Applicants should be at least 18 years old and not exceed 34 years as of July 1st, 2023. Candidates falling under the SC, ST (P), and ST (H) categories will receive a relaxation of 2 years in the age limit.

Seat Reservation: Seats will be reserved for candidates from various reserved categories, which include OBC/MOBC, SC, ST(P), ST(H), and Persons with Disability (PWD), in accordance with the Reservation Policy.

Application Fee: An amount of Rs. 600.00 (Rupees Six Hundred Only) is applicable for all categories and can be paid online through methods such as Internet Banking, Credit Card, Debit Card, or Wallet.

Admit Card: Candidates can access their Admit Cards for SCERT Assam D.El.Ed PET from either the official website or the SCERT Assam D.El.Ed PET Admit Card portal starting September 1, 2023. To do so, they should enter their Registration Number and Date of Birth, which were generated during the online application submission process.

Pre-Entry Test (PET) Location: The Pre-Entry Test (PET) venue will be assigned based on the District chosen by the candidates during the application form submission. This venue information will be specified in the candidates’ ADMIT card. Selected candidates will be allotted seats in the Teacher Education Institutes (TEIs) of the chosen District where they intend to take the Pre-Entry Test (PET).
